Congress demands judicial probe in inter scam

Hyderabad, April 29: Congress minority leader and veteran legislator Mohammed Ali Shabbir was among the victims of police Zulum today and was subject to an early morning swoop and forcibly arrested by Jubilee Hills police and prevented from participating in the opposition led dharna at Telangana intermediate board.

The senior congress leader demanded immediate action on Education Minister , intermediate board official Ashok and Globerina including police case and arrest of all concerned persons.

The Congress party demand judicial enquiry on the intermediate scandal and Rs.25 lakh as compensation to each of bereaved student families.

He said congress party will fight for people till the last and house arrests of all opposition leaders displayed the panic of KCR at the fury of public agitation. ‘ Will the paid news distributed as KTRs special interview bring back the lives of dead intermediate students who include even few girl students ‘ he asked .

In what could be described as death of democracy in Telangana the TRS government led by dictator KCR had let loose yet another phase of police atrocity and barbarism on opposition leaders who wanted to conduct peaceful demonstration on tragic suicides of 20 inter students following the marks card scam affecting over 3. 20 lakh students in the current academic year.

Shabbir said in a statement that KCR and KTR were blind to stark neglect by Intermediate Board and private agency which had ruined the lives of lakhs of students. ‘ KCR had chosen to buy 11 MLAs within a week of December polls but had been silent and oblivious of students and their parents mental agony even after ten days since Inter results declared on April 18th ‘ he said .

He said TRS government was trying to hush up the dirty handy work of Globerina company, belonging to a friend of KCR family ,responsible for the scam in intermediate board marks evaluation and compilation processing. ‘ Funny that KTR disowned the company with a Twitter comment instead or ordering a full probe,” he said.
